Grocery store pan-Asian dinner

A quick trip after work to the Asian grocery store yielded the following international snacks for dinner. First up, two vegetarian samosas made with wonton skins and a bean thread-filled spring roll. Unhealthy but these are superbly fried and really delicious.

Next up were some Vietnamese rice rolls stuffed with ground pork. With coriander and fried shallots dipped in the nuoc cham, these were a first for me. The rolls were extremely soft and fine. Excellent texture, softer than the Chinese cheung fan. The owners of this store are originally from Vietnam so they prepare a variety of Vietnamese foods for takeout including lemongrass tofu and chicken, papaya salad, summer rolls, and a variety of steamed cakes and dessert drinks.

Finally as a chaser were some fish keropok from Indonesia. Being too lazy to deep fry, I love the fact that you can get these already fried. Crispy and with slight but discernable fish flavour, one of my favourite keropok types. I love the way they look so there are two photos.
