Weekend Baking: Plum Tart

Some very elderly wrinkled plums were begging to be put out of their misery. They gave their lives for this plum tart. This single-layer tart was fine but the dual layer cake version was somewhat gummy, most likely due to under-baking and substituting the eggs with yoghurt. Not a substitution to be repeated.

Substitutions: prune plums instead of apple; yoghurt instead of egg
