Colourful Eggs

One of my food-related goals for the year is to find alternative food sources and shops. One of my colleagues has hens and regularly sells her eggs at work. This week I purchased a dozen. Most were the standard brown, though as you see in the photo, some were much darker brown than others. One was a pale green and the other was a speckled green. The yolks are much darker yellow than regular eggs. I've only eaten them hard-boiled so taste-wise there's not a lot of difference so far.
