Countdown to Australia: Week 2

Thursday, July 30: Day 7

Breakfast: coffee, toast with hardboiled egg, blueberries
Lunch: pita with spicy black bean patty, cherries
Dinner: egg noodles with kailan, tofu and fishballs, apricot

Snacks: coffee, chips, tea

Wednesday, July 29: Day 6

Breakfast: coffee, toast with Vegemite and hardboiled egg, blueberries
Lunch: paratha and omelet, cherries
Dinner: potatoes, peas, courgette and chicken, apricot

Snakcs: coffee, tea, brownie, fish kropok, hardboiled egg

Tuesday, July 28: Day 5

Breakfast: coffee, toast with hardboiled egg and blueberries, chips
Lunch: pita with spicy black bean burger, cherries
Dinner: egg noodles with kailan and tofu

Snacks: tea, coffee, ice-cream, brownie, biscotti

Monday, July 27: Day 4

Breakfast: coffee, toast with Vegemite and hardboiled egg, peach, brownie
Lunch: potato, peas, courgette, chicken
Dinner: methi paratha with green onion omelet, chips

Snacks: coffee, biscotti, ice-cream

Spending: $6.33 for fruit for the coming week

Sunday, July 26: Day 3

Breakfast: coffee, peach, toast with mango jam and Morningstar patty
Lunch: potato, cauli and tofu quiche with the last of the cheese. Potato dissolved into creaminess.
Dinner: bun (rice noodles with napa, fried shallots, green onions and squid nuggets), ice-cream, peach

Snacks: ice-cream, shrimp chips, emping, coffee, peach, tea, brownie

Saturday, July 25: Day 2

Breakfast: coffee, toast with cheese, peach.
Lunch: egg noodles with fried tofu and kailan, chocolate ice-cream with almonds
Dinner: bean thread noodle soup with napa and tofu, more ice-cream

Snacks: ice-cream, shrimp chips, emping, coffee, peach, tea, biscotti

Friday, July 24: Day 1

Breakfast: coffee, toast with mango jam and Morningstar patty
Lunch: wheat pita with pastrami and cheese, cherries
Dinner: spring roll, samosa, pastrami, tea cake, peach, shrimp chips

Snacks: coffee, Jaffa cake, ice cream

Spending: $26.29 mainly on storecupboard or freezer items so don't feel too bad about this.
