
I finally understand why people love crackly top brownies so much! Using this
Fanny Farmer recipe but substituting a Godiva 70% cacao with almonds, oil and omitting walnuts and adding instant coffee, this gave a perfect crisp texture. The chocolate flavour is not as strong as I'd like, so experiments with a darker chocolate will need to continue. Best warm from the oven, as it loses it's crispiness over time. Will try rewarming in the oven next time.
