Weekend Baking: Fruitcake Bars

Necessity is the mother of trying new recipes. This recipe had been on my long list of recipes to try one day, and lingering bags of dried pomelo and sunflower seeds finally pushed me over the edge. Delicious and easy to make. Chewy and filling, these are perfect for long travel days.

Substitutions: dried pomelo, dried cranberries, almonds and sunflower seeds
