I finally decided to bring this
grapefruit yoghurt cake from smitten kitchen to a holiday party. I love yoghurt cakes for their moistness and find the bitterness of grapefruit cuts a lot of the sweetness of many cakes. Unfortunately due to operator error the two loaves I ended up bringing were overbaked and so the tops was burnt. The extra batter baked in muffin cases at a lower heat turned out perfect: moist and the glaze was able to penetrate to add a pleasant sweetness.
