My first attempt at baking brownies. I'm not generally a fan of these as I find them too sweet, so baking them myself has never been a priority. The ease of this recipe posted on LTHForum finally made me succumb. I substituted white whole wheat flour, oil for the butter and used Lindt 70% for the unsweetened chocolate and cut some of the sugar. Must cut more next time as this was still too sweet. But it makes a nice treat and was extremely quick to make. After cooling down its much less sweet and more to my taste. It retains its crisp crunchy top. Nice. Definitely a recipe to experiment with.
