Cote D'Or Gianduja

Small fingers of soft (due to today's humidity) smooth, creamy milk chocolate-covered gianduia. This bar is more about the silky smooth texture of both gianduia and chocolate than depth of flavour, with the hazelnut flavour fairly muted. I am pleasantly surprised it is not toothachingly sweet like similar bars. Love the chunky bar in its textured paper wrapper. Apparently this is part of Cote D'Or's Classic range.

From a large, well-known Belgian manufacturer now apparently owned by Kraft, this was too bitter for my tastes and a little chalky as well. I'm using the rest of the bar for hot chocolate.
